Last Week of Classes!!!!

This is the last week of classes for the fall of Junior year and let me tell you it is one of the best parts of the year. Boston is alive with Holiday spirit for people of all ages! My fellow Resident Assistant in Miller Hall, Ki, has one of his floors decorated to the point that "Santa himself would be jealous." I will be honest I have become overly distracted with the holidays and may or may not be neglecting my studies in exchange for some extra Holiday celebration. Thursday for example, Boston will be closing the historic Charles Street between Beacon and Cambridge Streets to have a food festival and all kinds of other fun stuff.
The extra events this week aren't limited to holidays. There is a stress relief session in the Donahue Building today from 1-230 and another one in Miller Hall tomorrow from 630-8. Today many different school administrators, including President Sargent, will be in the C. Walsh Theater to discuss the press on Suffolk as of late. Thursday there will be a Celebration of Senegal Conclusion Ceremony in the C. Walsh Theater. Thursday night is the Winter Ball in the State Street Building for everyone to have a last bit of fun before cramming for finals starts Friday morning. It's going to be a good time.

Winter Fun

As the semester comes to an end and we all start looking forward to vacation more than we look towards preparation for finals, Suffolk and Boston, come anywhere but short with providing many needed distractions. Last night was the Coply Square Tree lighting, tonight is the Boston Common Holiday Tree lighting. If last night is any sign of the turnout that tonight will bring, it's going to be one big party. Suffolk is also running a number of events to celebrate the holidays including the up coming Holiday Concert and some illuminations of our own. I think my finals can wait until the night before, there is just so much fun to be had and I would not want to miss it for the world.
